O livro e sobre a prisao do artista-ativista-blogueiro- documentarista chines Ai Weiwei (de quem sou fa!!), pelo governo chines, em 2011. 

Para entender melhor a Historia dele nao deixe de ver Never Sorry, filme do qual ja falei aqui.

A foto e da Galeria Tate Modern em Londres, onde ele fez a exibição Sunflowers Seeds (2010/2011), pedindo sua libertação, na epoca.

E "Hanging Man", alem de dar nome ao livro, e também uma das obras mais conhecidas do artista (data de 1985).

Perry Farrell & Bird’s Nest design

O lider da Jane's Addiction, Perry Farrell, deixou seus fans brasileiros furiosos esta semana. 

Ele deveria aprender um pouco com os arquitetos suicos Herzog & de Meuron, responsaveis pelo design do Bird's Nest em Beijing, na China, para as Olimpiadas de 2008.

Este documentario (veja o trailer aqui) por acaso se refere a arquitetura e a China, mas o conceito do documentario se aplica a qualquer industria e a qualquer cultura.

A introducao do site abaixo transcrita resume bem a historia... Ha que criar pontes, entender o outro lado e assim se podem construir historias... belas historias como o Bird's Nest. O contrario, pode resultar em desastres como o desta semana.
